Hyderabad: A 20-year-old lady was injured and had to be hospitalized later her supervisor at a real estate firm supposedly attacked her with a sharp weapon in Nagarkurnool district of Telangana on Friday, the police force said.
The thing happened on the outskirts of Vellampalli.
D Naresh, the accused, had questioned the victim, who works in the same office as he, to meet at a friend’s house, police whispered.
The minute she went there, Naresh attacked her with a sharp weapon, wounding her on the collar, Kalwakurthy Circle Inspector Mallikarjun Reddy said mentioning the woman’s complaint.
“The woman tried to escape and has been moved to a state-run hospital in Hyderabad,” the police officer alleged.

As to what prompted the attack, Reddy said police were inquiring it, as the female did not say anything in her complaint in this concern.

After the incident, the accused ran away. Though police had launched a manhunt to nab the suspect, police added.
