HYDERABAD: Physicians from across the country will converge in the city to discuss gastrointestinal infections and digestive disorders such as abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, belching and constipation.
The two-day conference entitled “Frontiers and Future Perspectives in GI Physiology and Functional GI Diseases” will provide crucial insights into gastroenterology, experts say.
The conference will witness the participation of gastroenterologists who would be exposed to inputs and updates on the challenges of mobility, treatment and management, as well as new trends in KIMS hospitals in Secunderabad from 29 to 30 April.
Dr. Nitesh Pratap, senior consultant, KIMS hospitals and conference secretary, said it was an effective platform for deliberating on motility issues that have been chronically traumatized by humanity. “The conditions of abnormal motility can mimic serious diseases and confuse doctors and the patient. Examining and excluding an underlying organic disease is an important step in gastrointestinal practice,” he said.
