The meteorological department of India reportedly issued a heat wave warning for the next three days for Khammam, Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad. Heat-wave conditions should prevail in isolated areas in the northern Telangana districts.

Meanwhile, the temperature should remain above 42 degrees Celsius at some locations in northern Telangana and above 40 degrees Celsius at several locations in the state for the next two days, said an IMD report.

“During the last few days, there has been no formation of cumulonimbus clouds on the state or the city, and with a well-marked low pressure zone on the East-Central Bay of Bengal, keeping The Deccan plateau devoid of moisture, people are feeling very hot, “said Dr. K Naga Ratna, a senior scientist at the Indian meteorological department at the Times of India.

“Deaths from sunburn are not reported in the list of natural disasters, so we provide relief to the families of the victims under the Apathbandhu program,” said a disaster management official at TNIE.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad traffic police during these hot summer days, provides summer kits to their cops while they operate under the burning sun.
