Hyderabad CBI steps in to trace kidnapped Odisha girl
September 29th, 2016 the High Court directed the CBI to take up the investigation case of Odisha girl.
Hyderabad following the directions High Court of Odisha girl, on this case the Central Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case of kidnapping of a girl student of Balasore Kendirya Vidyalaya and accordingly the premier investigating agency has lodged an FIR against 2 school teachers as per the report.
As per the issue the FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the IPC against Mr Suresh Ch. Das and Reeta Sahu of Kendriya Vidyalaya Central School Chhak Balasore as per now and the duo have been accused of abduction kidnaping or convincing woman to marry, criminal pressure, abetment, acts done in continuance of common meaning.
In this case originally dates back to December 2014 year and angry over the inaction by the police in releasing their daughter from the kidnappers the complainant had filed a writ petition in 2015 in High Court of Orissa seeking transfer of the case to the CBI, in September 29th 2016 year the HC directed the CBI to take up the investigation as per the report as per the report.
The CID Odisha Police in its status report to the High Court said that inspite of several efforts; and they had failed to trace the kidnapped girl and CID also said that it has imperfect resources to carry out a search throughout the country of India.
