Hyderabad: 3 J&K students arrested for not standing during National Anthem

The three J&K students were at the CinePolis: Mantra mall to lookout the 3.50 pm show of the Hindi picture Bareilly Ki Barfi.


Hyderabad: Three youngsters from Jammu and Kashmir were under arrest by the Rajendranagar police department, who privilege that they had not risen up when the National Anthem was coming before the showing of a Hindi picture at a cinema hall on this Saturday.

The three students have deceptively denied the custody. Omer Faiz Luney, Jameel Gul and Mudassir Shabbir, from Baramulla in J&K, are presently studying engineering at a university in Chevella.

Rendering to P.V. Padmaja, the Deputy Commissioner of Police P of Shamshabad zone, the three youths were at the CinePolis: Mantra mall to lookout the 3.50 pm show of the Hindi movie Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Before the start of the show, the National Anthem was played as commanded by the Supreme Court.

The Rajendranagar police had received a grievance later in the evening from the supervision, after which a case was recorded against the three males under Section 2 of the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act.
