Honda Civic Si Torque Specs has kicked in a little too early
The 10th-generation Honda Civic Si is just to make its release around the corner. The manufacturer has hoped to keep the sports compact to enclose. Whoops, someone have released the torque figure via an email to its fans a little bit early.
At the New York International Auto show the tenth generation of Honda Civic Si is expected to make its official debut. The maker has put specs on sport compact, a prototype that was released in 2016 in Los Angeles auto show, but someone has made the release its torque figure through an email to Civic Si fans.
According to its website CivicX.com, the forum member Rickyg0731 an email that has been sent out to Civic faithful one who signed up with the company for Si updates. As Honda stated that the upcoming Civic Si feature would be 192 lb-ft of torque and is derived from its 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
This will be of 15 lb-ft increase from the previous Civic Sport and its Touring models. That’s not an exact tire-scorching bump, especially after considering the upcoming Civic Type R 2017 and develops almost of 295 lb-ft of torque and having the horsepower of about 306 from its 2.0-liter turbo-four. However he said that he didn’t expect one either of predicting that the model Civic Si would come with 215 to 230 hp.
