TDP workers protest against Jagan’s visit to console the victims of the bus accident.
High drama conquered on Tuesday at Andhra Pradesh Government hospital when YSR Congress President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy got into a heated dispute with Krishna District Collector Babu Ahamed, while police resorted to lathi charge to control protesting TDP workers.
The situation has happened when Jagan reached the hospital in Nandigama to solace the victims of the bus accident, which took place in Krishna district on Tuesday.
“Right from the police to the District Collectors, all are corrupt. I will send you all to central jail,” Jagan shouted during his argument with Krishna District collector.
He also snatched to pretend the copy of the post-mortem report from the duty doctor of the Government hospital even as Telugu Desam workforces staged a protest against the leader of Opposition party visit to relieve victims of the bus mishap.
Babu Ahamed who was also present there tried to snatch the post-mortem report from Jagan, infuriating the latter. “It’s not correct to snatch the report from the doctor,” Ahamed was heard telling the Opposition leader as they got into a heated argument.
Tension prevailed at the hospital area when the TDP workers tried to block Jagan’s car as police resorted to lathi charge to control the situation.
Jagan purported that the Government of AP didn’t conduct a proper post-mortem on the bus driver’s body to know whether the bus driver was drunk or not.
“The Chandrababu Government is taking no action despite such ghastly accidents buses belong to the MPs of TDP party. The travel agencies gives permit for one bus but they run five buses with the same permit,” the Leader of Opposition alleged.
Meanwhile, the party workers of TDP, who reached the spot, shouted “Jagan go back”.
After a while, Jagan started going out of the hospital and got into his car, the TDP workers tried to block the vehicle’s path. Finally, the YSRC leader made a quick exit.
