New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight had wished the former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes’ daughter, named ‘India’, on her 2nd birth anniversary.

Rhodes, who belongs to IPL (Indian Premier League) side Mumbai Indians’ support staff, posted an image of himself with his daughter, who had turned two on this Sunday i.e. on April 23rd.
“Happy Birthday baby India; 2 today #landofyourbirth,” Rhodes had tweeted.
Narendra Modi had tagged Rhodes and had written, “Happy birthday to India, from India. :).”
Rhodes responded to Narendra Modi’s wishes, adding,
In the year 2015, Rhodes had said he esteemed that India has an opulent mix of culture, tradition, and heritage and that’s the major reason why he was naming his daughter as ‘India’.
“It is a very divine country, very forward-thinking country. I actually like that mixture. You have to have a good stability of life. With the name like India, she will have the finest of both worlds and that kind of balance,” Rhodes had stated.
