Google is currently releasing Android Nougat versions and now it is going to end the Android Nougat Beta and sooner to release Android O Beta.
The Search engine giant Google is going to launch the Android O Beta sooner as it is going to end the Android Nougat beta. Just days ahead of its annual developer conference I/O 2017 Google announced to end the Android Nougat Beta and will launch the Android O Beta. On the Android Beta website, the company said that the site will be updated next when the Android O Beta Programme begins.
Google updated in the Android beta website saying that “Thank you for your interest in the Android Beta Programme. The beta for Android Nougat has concluded, and all devices that were opted in have been updated to the current public version.”
It also added that if the users are still running a beta version of Nougat they can download the latest full OTA image for their device and sideload it. This will not wipe out the user’s device.
Android O features
The Android O Developer Preview was released for the devices Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus Player which brings new features for all those devices like Notification channels, Adaptive icons, better battery life, etc. The new version of Android also supports for the Autofill apps, high-resolution audio, enhanced keyboard navigation, Picture modes, wide-gamut color for apps and faster Android runtime.
Till now, Google has been providing the Beta Versions for the Android Nougat and now it is going to end the Android Nougat Beta and early “Developer Preview” versions of the Android O is touted as the next major version of the Android OS.
BetaNews reported that many users of the Nexus and Pixel are waiting for the release of the Android O Beta as the developer preview is not really intended for the public consumption.
