Data Studio is the open component of Google Data Studio 360, which is available as a paid-for product for data imagining and reporting with licensing starting at five hundred users. It can be used to link to all your data with native integrations across a range of Google products, as well as non-Google data.
Both versions can be used to make reports from data from AdWords, YouTube, Google Analytics, BigQuery, Google Sheets and Attribution 360.
Subsequently the launch, the product has been enhanced with the addition of templates and new data connectors. New connectors since the early release include DoubleClick Campaign Manager and DoubleClick Search data; Google BigQuery; Google Cloud SQL; MySQL, and YouTube Channel. The YouTube connector lets you make visualizations from any field obtainable in the YouTube API.
The templates afford sample reports for marketing based on Analytics 360 data; e-commerce based on Adwords and Analytics 360.
There’s an Adwords outline using just Adwords data, and a YouTube channel analysis. There are two templates based on Google Sheets data, one showing a range of charts and the second charts based on ad performance; and the final Google Analytics 360 template is a dashboard report of the Google stock store.
The free version is available for usage in some countries – it was originally only available in the US, but can now be used in twenty-two countries including Brazil, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom and the New Zealand.
