Godha is featured with Tovino Thomas and Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi as Adithi
Godha, the most awaited trailer in Malayalam film got released today. The film is jointly produced by Mukesh R Mehta, CV Sarathi and AV Anoop under their banners E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. Basil Joseph the Malayalam film director, actor and writer has directed the film.
The film Godha is a wrestling sports drama and also a Malayalam debut platform of popular Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi who made her film debut in 2015 with telugu film Bhale Manchi Roju and with Tamil film Maalai Naerathu Mayakkam in 2016. The actress had already ventured in Bollywood with Sixteen. Keeping apart from her in cinema she is popular for her Instagram dubsmash videos.
The film is also included with Tovino Thomas who portrays the main lead in the film. The film is also insisted with ensemble star cast including Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Aju Varghese, Mammukoya, Hareesh Perumanna and Sreejith Ravi.
The trailer which is about one-minute and 49 second long begins with Renji Panicker and Maala Parvathi inquiring about Tovino Thomas. Renji Panicker played as a wrestling coach in the film and Tovino will be seen as his son who has no interest in wrestling. The trailer has portrayed Tovino in a new avatar where the actor will be seen in experimenting with the comedy for the first time in the film. The Guppy actor is trying to make this as a hat-trick of success in 2017 as his previous two releases Ezra and Oru Mexican Aparatha were hits at the Box Office. The trailer is also featured with Aju Varghese and Hareesh Perumanna.
BGM score had been another plus point for the film as Shaan Rahman has given the music to it. The song ‘Aaro Nenjil’ sung by Gowry Lekshmi had already become a chartbuster. Vivek Ranjit has given English subtitles to the trailer. The wrestling commentary given by the Basil Joseph at the end of the trailer has been fun to hear as well. Completely, Godha film trailer looked out to be a sports drama with high on entertainment quotient.
