Team conducted simultaneous searches in Hyderabad, Guntur and Noida a week ago at the residences and offices of the accused ex IAF officer.
The CBI which had listed a case of unequal assets against a former squadron leader of IAF officer (Indian Air Force) who allegedly amassed Rs 11.9 crore in assets in all the places has retained former MP of Tenali in Guntur district Manish Saxena and Vallabhaneni Balashowry then manager of Axis Bank Najafgarh branch in Delhi under the Prevention act of Corruption.
As per the sources in the central bureau of investigation a team lead simultaneous searches in Hyderabad and Guntur and Noida places a week ago at the houses and offices of the accused ex IAF officer Polu Sreedhar, a native of Krishna district and a resident of Balashowry and Bengaluru.
CBI alleged that the ex IAF official in involvement with Balashowry and Manish Saxena secured land for 12.5 crore in 2007 to 2008 year in the Najafgarh area and the ex MP deprived of the charge IAF man deposited cash in various Axis branches as report say’s. Balashowry was the Congress MP from Tenali from 2004 to 2009 and later contested on YSRC ticket in 2014 selections from the Guntur Governmental electorate, the CBI has questioned him in connection with the case as mentioned.
According the FIR it has been supposed that from January 1st 2007 year to December 31st 2010 year, the former IAF official had amassed assets worth 11.9 cr which was 423 per cent more than his known bases of income in that period a CBI source said week ago searches were conducted in dissimilar places concerning the cases pertaining to Sreedhar and Balashowry, CBI alleged that Sreedhar had put the money in various branches of Axis Bank in 3 tranches as mentioned in report.
