Fast and Furious 8 is making huge collections since its early release in the country and collected a total of Rs 36 crore.
According to the reports from the Boxofficeindia.com, the Fast and Furious 8 is running successfully at India box office and it’s breaking the records. The eighth series of Fast and Furious has collected Rs 10 crore on Saturday (the third day of its release), and it has totally collected Rs 36 crore since its early release in the country.
On the release day, the film has collected Rs 8.50 crore. The trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the film collections in a day wise. He tweeted #Furious8 Wed previews 8.50 cr, Thu 14 cr, Fri 16.10 cr. Total: ₹ 38.60 cr [note: Gross BO]. India biz. AWESOME! #TheFateOfTheFurious.”
In India, the film has been released in different languages in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada over 1600 screens. According to Bollywood Hungama, the previous series of Fast and Furious, Fast and Furious 7 which was released in 2015 had collected over 110 crore in the domestic market.
Fast and Furious 7 is the second highest grossing Hollywood movie in India behind the film “The Jungle Book” which was released in the last year.
According to the Forbes report, on opening day the film Fast and Furious 8 has collected $45.6 million in North America. From the international market, the film has collected $194.8 million on the opening day. The film is breaking the records in China; the film has collected around $195 million alone on Saturday.

The film Fast and Furious 8 is directed by F. Gary Gray, and the film also stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel and Charlize Theron. Fast and Furious 8 is the first film that doesn’t feature Paul Walker who died in a car accident.
