Trisha appears to be thrilled about catching a meaty character in Kodi after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Trisha says “It is entirely contrary to what I did in VTV. It is a rock-hard role and it is the first time I am acting with Dhanush, with a character as significant as that of the star. When I overheard the script, I was speculating if public would admit me in such a character. It is somewhat I have never tried so far. I perform Rudra, a country girl, who is politically motivated and tremendously ambitious.”
Showering tributes on director Durai Senthil Kumar, Trisha says, “He is very strong on what he needs from each artist.”
Speaking about Dhanush thieving the show every time, she says, “That ensues with any great artist on the sets. I did face a situation with Manorama Aachi in Saamy and Prakash Raj sir. They come calmly and they snip the scene from under your skin. Dhanush is a vivid performer. For him, the movie is significant.”
Trisha appears least frightened with the existence of another artist — Anupama Parameswaran — in Kodi. “I am very egotistic as an actor, selfish as an individual. I am only concerned about myself. I don’t discern if that is good or bad. In Kodi, I be acquainted with my personality will stand out”.
“If I like the story, I will go on board,” she proclaims. “Then, I am okay to sit at home for 3 to 6 months,” she says.
Trisha is strong about what she needs. “I am not in a relationship with anybody. I am single and peaceable after a long time. But I am open to love and I trust that I will only wed when I fall in love,” she speaks.
