Digvijay Singh on Friday whispered that the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states have failed miserably in getting funds.
Hyderabad: Expressing surprise that an income surplus state like Telangana has been forced to take finances, T-Congress affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh on Friday held that Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states, K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu, have failed miserably in getting funds while there is no let up in their boasts. Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here,
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here, Mr. Singh lashed out at the TRS charges at the Congress by saying that the main Opposition party was not against irrigation missions, it was only against the growth of project estimates to benefit contractors.
“KCR’s propaganda that the Congress is against irrigation projects is incorrect. We are against contractors profiting at the expense of the government,” Mr. Singh whispered. He demanded the TS government pay return to those farmers whose lands are acquired for ventures as per the Land Act, 2013. Mr. Singh held that he recently came to know that a case was recorded against him in TS for his comments in the Tweet.

Condemning the racially encouraged attack on two Telugus in the United States, Mr. Singh whispered racism has enlarged after Donald Trump became President of the USA. He Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanded and foreign affairs minister Sushma Swaraj state with the US government. Making it strong that he was opposed to forced religious changes, Mr. Singh held that madrasas should be modernized.

Meanwhile, in the TPCC coordination assembly chaired by MP Palvai, Mr. Singh, Govardhan Reddy claimed disciplinary act on party leaders who violated discipline. He held that some senior party leaders were crossing the edges and revealed that he had urged a member of AICC A.K. Antony to take action against them.
