The actor who would be playing Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy role has been training for both horse riding and sword fighting
Mega star Chiranjeevi next and 151st movie Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is said to be the first freedom fighter, one who fought against British in the history of India’s freedom struggle. It is known that the Megastar is leaving no stone unturned in getting into the skin of his character. As the movie contains lot of Horse riding sequences as to ensure his skills in matching the film, Chiranjeevi has been keeping lot of efforts for the film as he is also participating in martial arts and sword fighting for last one month.
In his preparation, Chiranjeevi is improving his horse-riding skills and working hard as he is practicing horse riding for two hours every day at a race course in Hyderabad. “When director Surender Reddy said about the action sequences that encompass him riding a horse, it has excited the actor to the core, as a result he started making efforts for the film to ensure the portions look reliable,” says a source from the unit.
The source adds that the film contains many of elaborate sword fighting sequences and so the actor has begun training in the martial art, later this month.
Till now very little data is available regarding the freedom fighter so the film’s writers Paruchuri brothers have been making wide range of research in gathering the information about him. As to make sure that the data they have is accurate, they have also consulted historians and scholars, apart from sourcing material that has been known from the state’s official gazette.
The team has also visited some universities and libraries in London, and sourced books that have been written by British authors about Uyyalavada during that period.
