Chandrababu Naidu sounds poll bugle for 2019, launches door-to-door campaign

Chandrababu Naidu said that the honest and poor people are supporting TDP, while pickpockets and rowdies are backing YSRCP.


Srikakulam: Midway through their 5 years of tenure at the state assembly, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has already initiated campaigning for the 2019 elections.

In this esteem, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday has launched the ‘Intintiki (door to door) TDP’ campaign at Tettanagi village in Srikakulam district.

At the event, he also initiated the statue of party founder NT Rama Rao.

The Chief Minister, laterally with local leaders had gone to the houses of local people, probed about their problems, and queried about their feedback on welfare schemes and their execution.

He even attended a public gathering at the village, and talking on the occasion, slammed out at the opposition Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP).

Chandrababu Naidu said that the honest and poor people are supporting TDP, while pickpockets and rowdies are backing YSRCP.

Emphasizing on TDP’s devotion to state welfare, and contentment of election possibilities, the CM guaranteed that his government is functioning hard towards public welfare, and vexing to fulfill all election possibilities.

He also confident to supply drinking water to all households in Tettangi village, and pay for the wedding expenses of females living below poverty line- Rs 25,000 for Backward Castes and Rs 50,000 for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Emphasizing the state’s debt renunciation scheme, the CM assured further support to the farmers.

Appealing to have done the works that were pending for the past 70 years in 3 years of rule, Naidu commended the public to throw the parties which are making hurdles in the growth of the state.

“Currently 60 percent of the individuals are contented with TDP’s rule in the state, and we will attain confidence of 90 percent people in coming 2 years,” Naidu stated.

In 2014 Assembly elections, the TDP-BJP association had gained 106 of the 175 assembly seats in Seemandhra (Afore state bifurcation), dethroning Congress from their 4 decades of rule.

In the meantime, on June 2nd, then President Pranab Mukherjee gave out a gazette notification to cut out Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh.

For the future elections, TDP is leaving no stone unturned to gain with a higher margin and uphold its position as the reigning party.
