CBI believes Sudheer Babu has embezzled funds to the tune of 2.95 crore rupees in post office scam.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested the prime accused in the post office scam K Sudheer Babu and two other suspects T. Nitin, 37 and Narasimha Reddy as per the report.
As said, nitin is a law student at Pendekanti College and Narasimha Reddy is an Australian citizen who is originally from Andhra Pradesh and they composed the money in old demonetised notes from their friend Sudheer Babu, here Hyderabad postal section head and swapped it for new 2000 notes for a command of 1 or 2%. As per the report, Sudheer Babu is a close friend of Nitin as they had prepared for the civil services exams together, as said.
CBI believes Sudheer Babu has embezzled funds to the tune of 2.95 crore Narasimha Reddy and actively assisted Sudheer Babu in committing this currency exchange fraud, here the CBI has booked 3 cases so far concerning the fraud committed at the Golkonda, Karwan Sahu and Himayatnagar sub post workplaces.
Everywhere 17.02 lakh of new currency notes has been healthier 7 persons have been detained 55 incriminating documents and some laptops and mobile phones have been seized and searches conducted at 11 places in Hyderabad city as per the report.
