Balakrishna had rejected the offer given by Lakshmi Parvathi, the second wife of late NTR for the biopic planned on him.
Soon after Balakrishna had announced that he would be shooting a biopic on his late father NTR, where he would perform his father’s character, a lot of discussions had taken place.
NTR, recognized as the pride of Tollywood, had performed in and around 350 movies and was well-regarded as the screen God for his portrayal of roles like Sri Rama, Sri Krishna and Lord Venkateswara in the count to numerous historical and mythological appeals.
Lakshmi Parvathi, the late NTR’s second wife, opposed to the biopic and even endangered to go to the court if they depicted her as a villain. Parvathi also added that she is prepared to give her inputs for the movie as she had even transcribed a biography on the late legendary actor.
But Balayya doesn’t need any assistance from her as he is very clear about what he is doing. He says “I clearly know where to start and where to end this film. We made a committee that comprises of people close to my dad.”
Vishnu Induri, the CCL founder will be the bankroller for this biopic. “The script is all about NTR and finishes after he is sworn-in as the Chief Minister of joint Andhra Pradesh. The movie is more like a commercial picture. At the same time, they will depict NTR’s role in a more inspirational way,” says a representative.
“They might not touch upon NTR’s political profession. It’s just a biopic and they can emphasize on a specific period of the person’s life as an alternative of the complete life,” says the source. The story work is almost done and the director’s name will be out in a few days’ time.
