Bahubali 2 set to release world widely in more than 2,000 theatres on April 28
The Government of Telangana has given its principle nod to the producers of the much-awaited movie Bahubali 2 The Conclusion to screen the film five shows per day.
Srinivas Yadav, Cinematography Minister has expressed the government’s preparation when the film producers led by Prasad Devineni had called him up at the Secretariat on Monday and made the request to screen the film five shows per day.
The films made with the Historical background have been encouraged in the past by the State Government by giving the tax exemption for the films Rudrama Devi and Gautamiputra Satakarni.
He also said in terms of viewership and collections Bahubali had set several records and that the producers of the film had succeeded in taking the film to the international stage. On April 28th second part of film is set to release in more than 2000 theaters world wide.
Mr. Yadav has appreciated the efforts of the film unit that is led by the director S.S. Rajamouli as well as the workers and technicians in making the film a block buster.
The Minister conveyed some concern over reports that he is getting, the film tickets of bahubali were being sold in black market and he supposed that the government is committed to introduce online ticketing system to tackle the hazard.
The Minister said that once the online ticketing system is introduced it would ensure that interested viewers are not been put into hardships in getting tickets whre it would also generate more revenue to the government.
Mr. Devineni Prasad has thanked the Minister and the State Government in extending their full cooperation to the film unit.
Information and Public Relations Commissioner Navin Mittal and few other senior officials of the Film Development Corporation were present.
