It has been 2 years that the industry people and common audience are waiting for the answer of the question “Why Kattapa Killed Bahubali?” . The massive theatrical value of both the states AP/TG circuit alone is estimated at 122 Cr which has been highest ever for any Indian movie in a these 2 states. On digging the previous trade facts, no Telugu movie’s entire pre-release business has touched to the said amount.
The rights in Karnataka region stands at 36 Cr and the distributors are confident about recovering the cost since the first part of the movie had collected a share of 40Cr.
Where Tamil Nadu theatricals are estimated at 47 Cr and Kerala region has purchased it for 11 Cr which still has been the highest for any dubbed/non-Malayalam movie. Tamil Nadu could be a major contributor because the movie franchise consists of some of the big actors like Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, Satyaraj etc.,
The other theatrical rights for rest of India and rest of the world has been sold at 90 Cr but its North America zone (USA and Canada) which is sold at a monstrous 44 Cr which is expected to collect 10M USD whereas the previous part has collected 7M USD.

As the film going to release tomorrow, almost in 18000 theaters in both the Telugu sates going to play the film, the feverish fans are hovering around the theaters for the left over tickets available at the box offices. Kilometer long queues were seen here all major multiplexes with mostly youth waiting patiently for their turn to book their tickets.
Andhra Pradesh has allowed 6 shows per day where Telangana has approved permission for 5 shows per day as a special consideration.
BookMyShow claims sale of million tickets online as Craze for ‘Bahubali’ tickets at theatres
A largest online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow on Wednesday evening has stated that it had sold a million tickets in just over 24 hours from Tuesday. Full 2 days remained to the release of ‘Bahubali-The Conclusion’. Chief Operating Officer of BookMyShow, Ashish Saksena said that the record was previously held by Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’.

Meanwhile the producer of the film ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has accused Emirates of “rude” and “racist” behavior. The team has gone to Dubai for promoting the film in there but while in return they have face a bad experience at the Emirates Airlines. Shobu Yarlagadda, got to Twitter last night and described how the staff of the Dubai-based air carrier mistreated the team when they were on their way to Hyderabad after promoting the film in Dubai.
