Badshahs song “Humma Humma” is liked more than “Tamma Tamma”. “Humma Humma” is picturised on Shraddha-Aditya and “Tamma Tamma” on Alia-Varun
The most famous songs of the 90s are remixed are shown in two different movies. One of them is the “Humma Humma” tune in Ok Jaanu movie and the other one is Tamma Tamma in “Badrinath Ki Dulhania“.
Ok Jaanu is featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur whose acting skills have wowed the audience since their first movie together “Aashiqui”. And this could be the reason why “Humma Humma” became the instant hit. On the other side “Tamma Tamma” also has the best pair Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt and it looked more like a party song.
Shraddha and Aditya’s Humma song is more liked more than Varun Alia’s, Tamma Tamma again. In Ok Jaanu’s number, Badshah’s rap was an added bonus to the song including Tanishk Bagchi. Jubin Nautiyal, Shashaa Tirupati whose voice elevated the track. Moreover, Shraddha and Aditya’s performance was mind blowing. It was a slightly mellowed down form of the 90’s popular song by A R Rahman.
However, “Tamma Tamma” is also extremely full of life as the pairing is great. But, the original song sung by Anuradha Paudwal and Bappi Lahiri was an all-time favorite and the new version could not recreate the magic to that extent.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is said to release in March and is surely a treat to watch the of Varun and Alia which makes the movie very entertaining for the audience.
Tamma Tamma was the most famous track in the movie Thanedaar. And the movie is perhaps mostly remembered for such a hit song.
Since the movie Bombay’s release, the soundtrack “Hamma Hamma” has been quite influential, both nationally and internationally. So, the comparison was obvious.
