Apple has rebranded the iTunes Podcasts as Apple Podcasts and it has also modernized the Identity Guidelines to replicate the changes.
Apple has plunged the iTunes name from its Podcasts director and re-branded it as Apple Podcasts. Apple has also modernized its marketing strategies to include the latest name for its branding on social media networks and partner websites.
9to5mac.com signifies that Apple’s Eddy Cue had publicized at the Code Media conference in the month of February that Apple is eyeing to put in more additional features to the Podcasts application. With this rebranding, the report says, it is possible that Apple could reveal something high at WWDC in the month of June.
As we stated, the Cupertino-based firm has also reviewed its marketing strategies. It reads “At present, use the Apple Podcasts icon or Listen on Apple Podcasts badge whenever you promote your episodes or show” on Apple Podcasts Identity Guidelines website. The mark can be used in advancements on Web pages, apps, social media and in printed materials. Moreover, following the official rebranding, Apple has also renamed its official Twitter knob @iTunesPodcasts to @ApplePodcasts.
At Code Media meeting held in the month of February this year, Apple has also announced that it is foraying into the TV space with the inauguration of its next reality TV show Planet of the Apps. The reality show is set where participants will pitch their thoughts on new apps before the investors to fund them. The group of judges (or depositors) embraces singer-songwriter Will.i.am (also the forefather and CEO at I.am+), heroine Jessica Alba (also the co-founder of The Honest Company), heroine Gwyneth Paltrow (presently the founder at lifestyle publication Goop), and the CEO of Vayner Media, Gary Vaynerchuk.
