Here, equipment such as penta concrete batching plants, concrete trucks, putzmeister 12 cum surge crete, putz-meister agitator, putz-meister telebelt, water chilling plants are at various stages of transit. Though some of these should have arrived at the site some weeks back it was noted by the AP Chief Minister that some of the equipment is still at the ports as officials said.
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who took stock of the status of each machinery said, about Polavaram Project that administrators should give top priority and concentrate on machinery procurement and suggested that checking be done frequently.
Here as per the report, with regard to radial gates fabrication the officials informed the Chief Minister that 300 MT of steel is already at the site and another 2200 MT of steel will reach the site by April 15 in a phased manner and the officials said to reports, first jig will be completed in 3 days and the second jig will be completed by March 20, AP CM reviewed the progress of spillway concrete works which are to be finished.
