Novel campaign Idea is to encourage reverse migration of professionals

Novel campaign conducted by IT Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITAAP) an umbrella organisation for various IT bodies, campaign is for reverse migration of IT professionals settled in various parts of the country as well as abroad for jobs as well as entrepreneurship at their places of origin and this initiative first of its kind is expected to not only stop brain-drain but also lead to “ghar wapsi” of the skilled personnel who are looking forward for coming back to their homeland places.

In the light of certain announcements made by US President Donald Trump to dampen outsourcing and curbs being imposed on H1B visas and it is expected that reverse migration will gain momentum in the next few months as said. This ITAAP president Ravi Eswarapu told that they have decided to hold road shows in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai to bring back local talent migrated to those places in search of greener meadows.

Here, Visakhapatnam is the largest IT hub in the State with an IT turnover of 2000 crore ruppes and it is projected to be a prominent place for investors in financial technology (FinTech) and with Visa and Thomson Reuters deciding to launch their operations in the visakhapatnam will be needing lot of analytics in FinTech shortly as per the report.
