Andhra Pradesh Government will install around 1,893 mobile Base Tran-receiver Stations
Andhra Pradesh Government will be provided Mobile telecom service, under the Comprehensive Telecom Development Plan (CTDP) during 2017-18v year to all the uncovered villages, Decision was taken during a meeting held between officials of BSNL NE-II circle and Minister of State for Communications, Manoj Sinha, BSNL release.
About 1893 mobile Base Tran-receiver Stations are expected to cover all the uncovered villages and highways will also get covered under the CTDP project as per the report, in command to strengthen the telecom network of inter region connectivity and to promote Digital India Vision 1510 km of Optical Fibre Cable would be laid in this year for which work has lately ongoing.
Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) has also newly been made active at Itanagar with two 10 Gbps connectivity and it would provide stable telecom backbone and leased line circuits for advancing the e-govt projects of state and central govt the release as said to media. Here, in order to provide stable backbone network and also high speed data network for 3G and broadband services and BSNL has recently commissioned 40 Gbps transmission media on PGCIL network at Itanagar localition and 40Gbps link would acts as an Other Safety Path in case of any BSNL OFC link failures due to various reasons.
Additional a very high speed 120 Gbps Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing equipment has been recently made operational in Itanagar which would provide high speed data network for the 3G Broadband and upcoming 4G / WiFi hotspot network in the national and in total, 80 2G BTSs and 80 3G BTS were commissioned for refining the quality of mobile services throughout 2016-17 year
BSNL is commissioning 30 2G and equal numbers of 3G BTSs in the state and this there would be an adding of around two lakh line volume to the existing mobile network.
