The actor showed his support towards gender equality through a tweet saying that, “When I die, the assets I shall leave behind, shall be shared equally between my daughter and my son #genderequality #WeAreEqual.” He posted a picture along with it and captioned as #genderequality and #WeAreEqual. The tweet that the actor posted is reaching out to millions of followers and inspires them towards a better world for both the sexes.
Amitabh is inarguably India’s biggest superstar, and the way people respect him and his work leave a long lasting impression on them. When such a great personality supports the cause of gender equality, which is one of the biggest issues, it is a revolutionary one.
Usually, in a family the father leaves most of their wealth to his sons, but What Amitabh Bachchan has shared means a lot in a country like India, but the move of publically supporting gender equality is being looked upon as the actor’s initiative to inspire his large fan following in the country to do the same.
