Amit Shah said that Rahul should give reason of what the UPA government had done through its 10-year term at the Centre.
Panaji: BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday contracted off his party’s campaign in poll-bound Goa by launching a volley against Congress and its vice-president Rahul Gandhi who, he told, was “wearing Italian glasses“.
“Press the button in front of Lotus symbol on 4th February so that the present can be felt in Italy,” he said by addressing a public meeting in Bicholim electorate.
The BJP chief had said that the borders keep on unsafe under the past “Sonia-Manmohan government” law.
“There used to be shooting from all over the border each day. Rahulbaba was aiming out that even now firing endures from the border, so what is the variance between then and now?”
“Rahulbaba apko fark maloom nahi padega, apki ankh par to Italian chasma chada hua hai (Rahulbaba you won’t comprehend the variance between then and now since you are wearing Italian glasses),” Shah stated.
Enduring his diatribe, Shah declared, “When your Congress government was in supremacy, Pakistan used to begin the firing and finish it too. But currently, Pakistan begins the firing but Indian militias end it. No one can now dare to deface head of our warriors.”
The BJP chief said, “Rahulbaba keeps requesting us what Modiji has done?
“Jab 2019 me ayenge to ek ek second ka aur ek ek pai ka hisab bharatiya janata ko denge (we will give answer of each penny to persons of India on returning to supremacy in 2019),” Shah stated.
“There were numerous scams throughout the UPA government that the list is endless. There was a scam in 2G, ISRO, submarine…
Congress government did not spare coal which even burgles do not steal.
“After compelling scams to the refrain of Rs 12 lakh crore, Rahul is currently questioning us? I can say with conceit that in the past two-and-half years of our power, even Opposition parties cannot blame us of being tangled in any scam,” Shah said.
He enticed to people to select BJP candidates on “two- third of total 40 seats for a stable administration.
