Mukesh Ambani chairman of Reliance Industries launched Jio Prime Membership for existing Jio customers and released the tariff plans.
Mukesh Ambani chairman of Reliance Industries, India’s leading business firm which has launched telecommunication venture Reliance Jio Infocomm last year with a massive amount of Rs 1.5 trillion investments, mainly in building high-speed internet infrastructure over the new 4G/LTE network across the entire country.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday Mukesh Ambani Chairman of Reliance Industries announced the launch of Prime Membership for existing Jio customers and revealed the tariff plans.
He said, Jio Prime membership program that will open from March 1 and will remain open till March 31. All new customer who joins before March 31 this year at one-time membership fees of Rs 99 and All domestic voice calls will always remain free and there will be no roaming charges on its network for all of its tariff plans.
He said that, We are dedicated to serving you and winning your confidence every single day. All the Jio Prime Users can continue using the unlimited benefits of “Jio New Year Offer”’ until 31st March 2018 at a price of Rs.303 per month and effectively Rs.10 per day.
Jio users consume more mobile data than the entire United States of America and also 50 per cent more mobile data than all of China,” said Mukesh Ambani.

In the last 170 days, Jio crossed the mark of 100 million customers on its 4G LTE network adding nearly 7 customers to its network every second of every day. More than 100 Cr GB of data was consumed by Jio users every month on the Jio network which adds to more than 3.3Cr GB a day.
Jio exceeds the number of 4G base stations in India as compared to that of all the other operators. 5.5 crore hours of daily video is carried by Jio on its network and its Aadhaar-based process makes the commencement of Mobile Number Portability simpler and faster.
He said, the company would not match the highest selling tariffs of other leading Indian telecom operators, but would also provide 20 percent more data in each of these plans.
Before Jio, India was 150th in the world in broadband penetration but after the launch of Reliance Jio, India is now the number one country in the world for mobile data usage.
