Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon’s most popular dance number “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast” is recreated again in a movie directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan. The song still remains the most popular song in the chartbusters after more than two decades. The song was launched on Monday by Bollywood’s Khiladi (Akshay). The song is featuring Mustan’s son Mustafa and Kiara Advani. During the launch, Kiara shared that she has taken “Raveena’s blessings” then everyone were surprised Akshay saying Raveena Tandon looks as young as Kiara Advani. Akshay quipped, “Why need her blessings? You both are the same age!” An embarrassed Kiara replied sportingly, “That’s true. I just wanted her love and appreciation,” to which Akshay said, “Much better!”. Akshay reveals that it is not only the song but also his leading lady which stays youthful. The Bollywood actor danced to the tune and gave his fantastic performance.
Mohra (1994) was considered the best movies of Akshay-Raveena although they co-starred in several other hit movies. When the Actor was asked about the times he spent with Raveena. The 49-year-old actor, initially, he joked by saying that he doesn’t remember what he ate last evening, let alone what happened two years ago. And then he said that she is a great actress and it was a great experience working with Raveena Tandon. We have done many films together and also good songs. He says ‘Tip tip barsa pani’ from the same movie is one of his favourite songs which was amazing.
Abbas-Mustan, thanked Akshay for attending the song launch of their upcoming movie Machine. Akshay in return thanked them giving him the opportunity to work in 1992 thriller film Khiladi, which changed his career. He said that the ‘Khiladi’ word, ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast’ and ‘Churake dil mera’ has become very crucial for his career.
The original song from Mohra was done by Viju Shah but now it is recreated by Komail-Shivaan. It has the same vocals of Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy from the original song.
