Airtel offers up to 30GB free mobile data for 3 months for the postpaid users and 10GB free data for those who had availed the offer previous month.
Airtel is providing 30GB free data in coming 3 months for postpaid customers just by logging onto ‘My Airtel’ app by 30th April.
For those people who have already got a similar offer by the firm last month, 10GB free data (1-month validity) will be up for takes, a firm spokesperson told.
“Now relish certain free data each month for the next three months…That should shield any lengthy vacation you might have planned,” Gopal Vittal the CEO of Bharti Airtel said in an email to users.
Moreover, Airtel has declared that it will provide the value to clients who have not activated the precise international roaming pack before they travel abroad.
Quoting an example, Airtel had said if a customer has not activated a pack before going abroad and in case the everyday usage goes beyond Rs. 499, Airtel will inevitably trigger the Rs. 499 pack (that comprises limitless incoming calls, free internet data, SMS) at no additional cost.
If the use charges are below Rs. 499, the customers will only be charged on the charges that are relevant, the email said. Airtel said the move will defend consumers from bill shocks even though traveling overseas.
The firm is sending out emails in groups to inform all its postpaid clients about the special offers.
From the last few months, Reliance Jio’s disrupting positioning in the marketplace has enforced other operators to retort with plentiful counter-offers to hold customers, whirling up the viable heat in a market of above 1.12 billion mobile customers.
After the telecom regulator TRAI fixed its three-month free offer, Reliance Jio had recently pronounced a new proposal of 1GB high-speed data regularly for 3 months at Rs. 309 for its Prime customers.
Below the Rs. 309 plan, fat cat Mukesh Ambani’s Jio is giving out limitless SMS, calling and the internet (1GB data per day at 4G speeds) for about 3 months on the first recharge.
Predictors tracking the Indian telecom market – the world’s second biggest after China – anticipate the economic intensity to persist high even in the impending quarters.
