Airtel network download speed has almost doubled in the month of January to 8.42 mbps from 4.68 mbps.
New Delhi: Normal download speed on Bharti Airtel’s network was highest in the month of January at 8.42 megabit per second (mbps), rendering to newest data issued by telecom regulator TRAI.
The average mobile data speed issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India displayed that the download speed on Airtel network has nearly doubled in the month of January to 8.42 mbps from 4.68 mbps.
Moreover, average download speed on nation’s biggest broadband service provider Reliance Jio network condensed by more than half to 8.34 mbps from 18.14 mbps peak speed it listed in December.
This is the 3rd time when Airtel network has revealed utmost download speed from September. TRAI collects and calculates the speed of mobile data from subscribers through the nation with the assistance of My Speed application on tangible time basis.

Mobile broadband speed on state-run telecom commercial BSNL lessened to 3.16 mbps in January from 3.42 mbps in December. Broadband speed measurement of other networks was not obtainable in the available data.
