Renault India displayed an accessorized Renault Kwid at Surat International Auto Expo 2017 held last week. Here are the accessorized Kwid’s images from the show.
The Kwid is a Renault-Nissan Alliance’s first model to be based on the CMF-A version of the familiar CMF (Common Module Family) platform. The SUV-styled hatchback sits in an A-segment and competes with Datsun redi-GO, the Maruti Alto, and Hyundai Eon, and it is the company’s best-selling model in the country. Over one lakh units of a car are delivered in India alone.
Talking about specification in automobiles the Renault kwid car is presented in four trim levels: STD, RXE, RXL & RXT, and in three models: 0.8 SCe, 1.0 SCe, and 1.0 SCe AMT. The car seen in the live images is the Kwid 1.0 AMT in RXT trim level. The range topping model features two-tone gloss grey door mirrors, ‘Speed-sport’ designer graphics on doors, remote keyless entry with a central locking, dual-tone dashboard, front power windows and a MediaNAV touchscreen infotainment system.
The Kwid displayed at the show also featured optional accessories like alloy wheels, fog lamp, headlamp, and tail lamp chrome garnish, bumper liner chrome, and the body graphics.
The Renault Kwid 1.0 AMT RXT comes with the 1.0-litre SCe three-cylinder petrol engine that develops a 68 PS at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. Power goes to the wheels via the 5-speed automated manual transmission. The ARAI-rated fuel economy figure is 24.04 km/l. The Renault kwid car price 1.0 AMT RXT costs INR 4,31,576 (ex-showroom Delhi).
