Minister of state for health Faggan Singh Kulaste, Skill development minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy and minister of state for agriculture and Sanjiv Balyan, food processing have been probed to place in their papers.

Uma Bharati, Water resources minister have offered to leave on health grounds, whereas Mahendra Nath Pandey, who is the minister of state in the human resource development, is fixed to leave after his employment as the chief of BJP’s Uttar Pradesh part and in sight of the one-man-one-post standard.

Kalraj Mishra, medium and small scale industries minister, who is beyond 75 years but was permitted to continue as of Uttar Pradesh polls, might be headed to a Raj Bhavan.

Two candidates of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and Ram Chandra Prasad Singh, possibly, Purnea MP Santosh Kushwaha — are probable to be sworn in laterally with BJP nominees.

Suresh Prabhu, Railway minister, who has been in the adverse spotlight after a flood of derailments, is probably given environment ministry — an accountability that he implemented with assurance under the Vajpayee government.

Gadkari, who is previously in-charge of road transport and shipping, will attain further lift. Rudy is all fixed to get a significant post in the party, sources stated.

Cabinet reshuffle would target to reward players and penalize stragglers

Parliamentary concerns minister Ananth Kumar is gambled to be the choice for urban growth, which has been fingered by rural development minister Narendra Singh Tomar as his extra charge since N Venkaiah Naidu’s promotion as vice-president.

Modi had a conference with BJP chief Amit Shah on this Thursday evening, as party representatives put it, to give concluding touches to what will be the 3rd recast ever since May 2014 when the party had swept to office.

Though uncertainty sticks it out over the timing of the workout because of the PM’s travel agenda and President Ram Nath Kovind’s actions outside the Capital, rumor that Modi may carry out the variations before taking off for China on Sunday strengthened after Arun Jaitley said he was probably to shed extra charge of defence soon.

“I hope not very long,” was Jaitley’s answer when reporters inquired him on Thursday regarding cabinet reshuffle after he, laterally with other ministers, come across Shah at the latter’s house.

Defence, along with environment, I&B and urban development are amid portfolios which have been without full-time ministers.

With less than 2 years left for the succeeding Lok Sabha polls and a greater focus on delivery, the PM is tacit to be keen on an alteration of his team in what might turn out to be the last such workout before the 2019 test.

Kovind, who was fixed to leave the Capital for Tirupati, will return on this Saturday evening. He will join on Sunday on a two-day trip to Gujarat, parting a very small window for him to squash in a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan to insist in the inductees.

But doing so will be essential because of the PM’s movements abroad and the looming ‘shradh’ — a 12-day-long unpromising spell starts on September 6 when vital tasks, from actions to purchases and marriage negotiations — are put on the clamp.
