APSRTC plans to Commercialise Vacant Plots of 25
APSRTC plans to commercialize and change closely 25 vacant plots in various bus stations and depots has been made by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Here the plots which will be commercialized range from 8000 square feet to 12000 square feet and these plots will be given to private spenders in order to set up commercial formations including shops and theaters as per the reports. As said, they will build and function first and then transfer the projects to APSRTC as officially announced.
Corporation as of now is preparation to give the sites on lease for a minimum of 15 years and Sudeesh Kumar and the local manager of Visakhapatnam APSRTC supposedly stated that they have found 3 vacant plots in the city which can be commercialized and they are at Yelamanchili, Chintapalli, and Madugula. As of now he also said that the negotiations are being carried advancing by the private players who are absorbed in the scheme. Person from officials added that they have no plans to give out the sites within the city bounds as of today.
Though the 25 troupes have already shown curiosity to take this endeavor which will be going for the tender process in June and the establishment has also decided that they will allow the firms coming forward to set up establishments to name the bus stations after themselves and the manager said that if for example a company has presented attention on the plot bus station of Dwarakangar and it can be after the firms name and to do this the firm will have to pay some rent to the company and he also said that the talks which have begun are with a few giant businesses in the city as per the report.
