2017 BMW 5 Series expected to arrive in India later this year.
The newest BMW 5 series g30 is being showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show today, following its European premiere at 2017 Vienna Auto Show. The new 5 series is expected to arrive in India later this year.
Now in its seventh generation, the new BMW 5 Series features an evolutionary design that draws a heavy inspiration from the current BMW 7 Series (BMW G11/G12) introduced in 2015. It measures a 4,935 mm long, 1,868 mm wide and 1,466 mm high and has the wheelbase of 2,975 mm. Compared to the outgoing model, 6 mm wider and 2 mm taller, 2017 5 Series is 5 mm longer, and the wheelbase has grown by 7 mm. Thanks to a new CLAR RWD platform, it is also lighter by up to 100 kg.

The BMW 2017 5 series comes equipped with an Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Selective Beam, Park Assist, Remote Parking, BMW Head-Up Display, Integral Active Steering, iDrive 5 infotainment system with a 10.25-inch high-resolution display, an iDrive controller with the gesture control and Remote 3D View, and a wireless Apple CarPlay support.
