Green brigades are being made to ensure plant protection in Telangana.
Hyderabad: In a recent initiative to carry together animal husbandry and Haritha Haram ventures is on the anvil. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has decided to provide 13 lakh saplings to dairy farmers in the state.
Over the new scheme, every single dairy farmer will get six fruit-bearing trees to plant, which would then be utilized as food for the animals. Officers say, “The initiative that will start on Dasara, will upturn the green cover of the Telangana state.” Adding to this, they stated that the plan to accomplish 33 percent green cover in the state is in complete swing. The greening mark of 100 percent has previously been attained in ten districts and in the additional sixteen districts, 70 percent has been attained.
Green groups are being made to make sure plant protection. The forest department also has begun a new initiative of geo-tagging shrubberies that have sprouted, by linking them to Google maps. Above 69 percent of plants have been geo-tagged till now. Rendering to the Chief Minister’s guidelines, the forest department will make sure normal supply of water to all plants should the rains wane before the seedlings sprout.
